1. Surface Preparation
- Ensure that the surface to be grouted is clean, dry, and free of any contaminants, such as dirt, dust, grease, or old adhesive residues.
- Remove any excess water or moisture from the substrate. Ensure the joints are clean and free from debris. Use a vacuum or a brush to clear the grout joints.
2. Mixing
- Mix Component A (epoxy resin) and Component B (hardener) in the correct ratio (as indicated on the packaging) until a uniform color and consistency is achieved.
- Ensure the mixture is free from lumps and thoroughly blended for optimal performance.
- Mix only the amount of grout that can be applied within the pot life (30-45 minutes).
3. Application
- Use a rubber float or grout applicator to apply the grout into the joints, pressing firmly to ensure full joint coverage.
- Remove excess grout using the float at a 45° angle to avoid disturbing the joints.
- Allow the grout to set for 15-30 minutes before cleaning excess residual with a damp sponge.
- Clean the surface with a damp sponge, rinsing frequently to ensure the surface is smooth and free of grout haze.
4. Curing
- Allow the grout to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before subjecting it to any traffic or water exposure.
